Everywhere The Magic School Bus travels, people get on board!

Two events earlier this month reminded us – and other readers – how important books are when it comes to changing the world.
On June 9, the New York Aquarium hosted the grand opening of an interactive exhibit celebrating World’s Oceans Day – and Scholastic was thrilled to be there in support of The Magic School Bus! Then, the next day, the Bronx Zoo invited us to join their Animal Tales Extravaganza, a summer-long celebration of wildlife in children’s literature. Once again, The Magic School Bus was there, bringing readers and fans on board a learning adventure!
More than 10,000 people turned out for both events. They got to get messy and explored The Traveling Magic School Bus, playing games and interacting with exhibits on ocean life, the weather, the solar system, rocks, volcanoes, insects, the human body – pretty much every cool thing, ever. The one and only Ms. Frizzle also showed up at both events, and readings of The Magic School Bus: Oceans and The Magic School Bus: In the Time of Dinosaurs kept people entertained.
Probably the coolest thing about these two events was that, in both cases, we couldn’t get the younger fans off the Bus!
Check out some of the photos here!
Thanks to Scholastic Media and Margot Simmons for these details!
