In Our Feeds: Hunger Games characters at Hogwarts, Mr. Rogers nostalgia, and more!

Every Friday, we share a handful of links we find interesting, provocative, funny — or just plain cool. We call it In Our Feeds. Enjoy!
Happy Friday, OOM readers! We have a bunch of great links to share this week. I don’t know about you, but many of my fellow OOMers and I are kind of obsessed with Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. You can just imagine out excitement when we saw this article about which Hogwarts houses the Hunger Games characters would be sorted into (thanks to Megan and Michael for sharing!)
And speaking of Harry Potter, Jessica let us know that it’s the 3rd most read book in the world, following the Bible and Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-Tung. How many books on that list have you read?
When you work at Scholastic, it’s hard to avoid occasional nostalgia: The Baby-sitters Club? Book Fairs? Clifford the Big Red Dog? Needless to say, we got a kick out of the video Nadia shared of the Mr. Rogers remix that went viral.
One thing I don’t miss about childhood, though, is having to bring in a note of absence whenever I had to skip school. This week, Alex came across a story about a fifth-grader who missed school in order to attend a speech given by President Obama. He came back with a handwritten excuse note… from the President himself! You definitely can’t argue with that one.
Have a great weekend!
