In Our Feeds: Newspaper fashion, how to be more interesting, and Maurice Sendak
By Nadia on May 11th, 2012
Each Friday, we share a handful of links we found interesting, provocative, funny — or just plain cool. We call it In Our Feeds. Have a good weekend!
Summer is on its way, and so it the prom. Alex found this great story about students using their creativity to make their own dresses…out of newspapers! And the dresses are amazing!
Alex also found some news on our favorite book series, The Hunger Games: Francis Lawrence will be directing Catching Fire. Who else is excited for the movie?
Ever wonder how a book would be different if another author wrote it? How much a movie would change if another actor played the main character? James Bond creator Ian Flemming originally suggested Alfred Hitchcock direct the movies! He passed to direct Psycho, but we can only imagine how it would have been!
Morgan found a fun article with graphs about how to be more interesting! One of my favorite tips: embrace your inner weirdness.
And Lia found an article about Maurice Sendak, who passed away this week, with an adorable anecdote about a little boy’s response when Maurice Sendak sent him a letter and a drawing!
Happy Friday!
