Happy Haiku Poetry Day!
By Megan on April 17th, 2012
The thing I love most about poetry is that it’s everywhere—you can find it on the subway, being shouted from the rooftops, and to my recent discovery, right here at the Scholastic headquarters.
As you know, April is National Poetry Month, and today we honor poetry in its tiniest, loveliest form: the haiku. To help celebrate Haiku Poetry Day, several of my inspired colleagues from an array of departments within the company channeled their inner poet by putting pen to paper. I personally think we have some budding poet laureates in the group. Bravo!
