In Our Feeds: The Hunger Games, books as sculptures, dystopian fiction, and frogs

In Our Feeds: The Hunger Games, books as sculptures, dystopian fiction, and frogs

By on March 23rd, 2012

Each Friday, we share a handful of links we found interesting, provocative, funny— or just plain cool. We call it In Our Feeds. Enjoy!

If you were somehow unaware, The Hunger Games movie opened today.  As you might imagine we might just be a little excited about that.  Today I found 20 Things to Do to Get Ready for The Hunger Games.  Meanwhile Lia showed us that the move truly is everywhere!

Nadia brought us an interesting infographic about the popularity of Dystopian fiction over time. The 3 highest peaks over the last 100 years – it’s low during times of war. It was up during the Cold War and now it’s extremely high again. Fascinating!

Books can make amazing sculptures.  Megan showed us just how very cool they can be.

And finally Michael sent us a reason why you shouldn’t tease wild life

Enjoy!
