It's finally here: the Summer Challenge! Think kids will break the world record for reading again?

Book an event at Scholastic and we’ll donate 100 books

Book your next event at Scholastic in NYC. Lia Zneimer from our Event Services team is here to tell you how you can help donate books to kids in need just by hosting your next event at our headquarters.

When you hear someone mention “Scholastic,” what’s the first thing you think of? Book Fairs? Classroom magazines? Clifford the Big Red Dog? Event services might not have been the first thing to come to mind, but we’re hoping to change that.

We’re proud to announce that we are extending our mission to help kids learn to read and to love to read by launching Book for Books, a new initiative that aims to merge event services with literacy – a cause rooted in our company’s 91-year history.

Starting today, when you book an event with Scholastic Event Services, we will donate 100 children’s books to the non-profit of your choice. It’s that simple—you can host an event at Scholastic’s world headquarters and, in doing so, give to an organization you love.

Not many people know this, but we have five awesome event spaces hidden in our SoHo headquarters, including an auditorium, a rooftop terrace, and a private penthouse suite. We also have a great event services team on-site, with whom you’ll work closely to plan your perfect event. Whether you’re looking to hold a reception or a dinner party, a corporate meeting or a film screening, Scholastic Event Services is a team you can trust.

Help put books into the hands of kids in need! Email eventservices@scholastic.com for more information. We’d be happy to help you Book for Books!
