Hey OOM Readers! Lauren Felsenstein here. I’ve been blogging a lot about Scholastic’s awesome new facebook page this is teen,” the online community for YA Fans. Ivy also recently wrote about this is teen’s amazingly cool feature, The TeenBook Finder App. Now I’m really excited to be able to tell you a little about this is teen live. YA superstars Libba Bray, Meg Cabot, and Maggie Stiefvater hit the road last week to talk a little bit about this is teen as well as discuss their newest books!

The ladies kicked things off in Long Island, New York and then headed to San Francisco, Chicago and Boston.

Check out this fun slideshow of the tour as it stopped at Books Inc. in San Francisco, Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, and Wellesley Books in Boston.

Readers who got to see the authors in action took to their blogs to talk about how much fun they had. Chloe from the Blog Chloe’s thoughts saw the tour in San Francisco, while the writers at Bewitched Bookworms saw the Chicago event, and The Book Girl Reviews was on hand in Boston. Even Publishers Weekly got in on the fun with this great piece about the tour.

The bloggers at Eve’s Fan Garden say it best “if you get a chance to attend the final event in Florida, do so. It was an amazing experience!” If you’re in the Miami area on July 23rd come check out this is teen live for your self. Libba, Meg, and Maggie will be at Books & Books in Coral Gables at 7:00 PM. You can click here for more information.  Be sure to check out our this is teen events page for news of other this is teen live events coming to your area. You can also find out about events in your area featuring your favorite Scholastic YA authors.

Have you met one of the three authors or maybe all three? Let us know in the comments!
