It may not feel like it, but spring is definitely in the air.  One of my favorite holidays in the spring is Easter.  The kids get anxious for all the Easter egg hunts, parties and fun outdoor activities with their families.  Spring is the perfect time to take that long-awaited trip to the park, get a couple of great books and activities and enjoy the fresh air!  I am awaiting a call from my sassy ten-year-old niece asking about our annual trip to the Easter Parade and The Scholastic Store in Soho.

She may not admit it to her friends, but my niece still loves Clifford’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt at The Scholastic Store.  Clifford the Big Red Dog visits the store to host story time, take fun Easter pictures with kids and help them hunt for treat-filled eggs throughout the store.  While my niece looks forward to Clifford, I look forward to the Easter Parade in Manhattan!  I love to see the characters, costumes and yes, I do indulge in the Easter chocolates.  My niece doesn’t know this yet, but she will be putting on those bunny ears for our full day of Easter fun!
