When I last wrote about Jacob Schroeder, I mentioned his exclusive interview with John McCain’s youngest daughter Bridget. Our eight year-old Southwest reporter is at it again, this time quizzing Bridget’s dad.

Yesterday at a town hall meeting with Sen. McCain in Albuquerque, Jacob asked the Republican nominee when he planned to announce his choice for vice president.

He followed it up with this question: “What qualities are you looking for in a vice presidential running mate?” to which McCain responded, “Someone exactly like you. Young, vigorous, talented. That person has to share not only my principles and my values but also priorities.”
