In Our Feeds: The Page 40 test, literary packaging, and the best snow day announcement ever

It's hard to believe it's almost February—feels like just yesterday we were prepping for New Year's Eve! Here's a look at the links that made the rounds in our office this week.

  • We're officially a month into our New Year's resolutions. How's your willpower holding up? Nadia found this great piece from Huffington Post Books on the 10 ways your library can help you keep your New Year's resolution.
  • Have you heard of the "Page 40 Test"? Author Michael Bourne takes to The Millions to explore whether or not the first sentence of the fifth paragraph on page 40 of a book is reflective of an author's style.
  • Meanwhile, Chipotle has announced a new line-up of authors for its cups and bags! (h/t Brittany)
  • Another read we loved this week: this article that Alex found on how to use social media in a low-tech classroom.
  • Friday is the perfect time for a BuzzFeed quiz! Luckily, Gina sent over "Which Famous Poet Are You?
  • I stumbled upon a blog post about a couple who transformed a yellow school bus into a house. Seriously. It's so Ms. Frizzle. (Speaking of which, be sure to check out the above photo from Fun at Work Day, which we celebrated this week!)

And, last but not least, we leave you with two of the week's best videos, both featuring AWESOME teachers and administrators. Happy Friday!
